The Basics:


As Performance Manager, you will be working in-house for one of the biggest brands from the Netherlands.

In this new challenge, you take an expert role in all aspects of social media ad campaigns — both towards internal and external stakeholders. You’ll work closely with a team of strategists, campaign managers and content creators. You help define the drivers of campaign performance on social platforms for 30+ countries to deliver and optimize campaigns that drive brand awareness, enhance consideration and brand preference, and ultimately drive sales for high-visibility product launches.  

You have a deep understanding of social media buying dynamics and the technical requirements (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). You’re able to structure a solution plan based on data insights and root-cause analysis, can derive creative & strategy insights and can anticipate risks based on data & trends.  

The main responsibilities are:  

  • Responsible for monitoring paid social campaigns and identifying opportunities on a daily basis.
  • Identifying longer term trends and connect learnings over time
  • Follow up on campaign timing and performance with the strategist. Has an overview of performance of his campaigns at all times.
  • Campaign evaluation & transferring insights into a new performance brief for strategy & content creation
  • Campaign management quality checks
  • Coach Campaign managers

The Essentials:


  • Easy speaker, comfortable and convincing in client meetings
  • Organized and autonomous
  • Strong Analytic skills
  • Has good skills in Facebook Business Manager and Power Editor. Experience in third-party tooling is a pre.
  • Social media enthusiast with a built-in curiosity for testing, always finding ways to improve
  • Curious and have a “test, learn and optimize” mind-set
  • Left and right brained: demonstrate creativity in data analysis and understanding. 
  • Preferably EU inhabitant.


The ideal candidate for Performance Manager is fluent in English (knowledge of Dutch is a plus) and would have the following background:  

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in social paid campaign management with in-depth knowledge of planning, execution and reporting on multiple platforms
  • Able to understand client’s need, drive its satisfaction while considering which resources can be allocated to it.
  • Strategically strong. Understands the client’s business and can connect business challenges and social strategy/tactics.
  • Ability to defend paid social competitive advantages against competitors or other media.
  • Strong analytical skills. Understand how to smartly analyze and use the data to turn the data into actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment.
