Junior Innovation Project Manager - Social.Lab Amsterdam


As Junior Innovation Project Manager, you will be part of the innovation team(FBS).You will be working for one of the biggest brand from Holland: Philips. Join the Philips in-house D2C activation team. The mission of FBS (FASTER – BETTER – SMARTER) is to implement scaling efficiencies across d2c through data engineering, data integration and AI.

 In this new challenge, you will work with Philips data scientists to build custom made solutions within our digital environment. Solutions such as cross channel dashboards, insight generators, campaign optimizers or predictive analytics modeling tools. 

 As the ideal candidate, you will manage and develop projects/solutions by supporting the design of the solution and retro-planning associated to it. You will collaborate closely with discipline experts (Social, SEA, Programmatic, Analytics, etc.) to deliver on projects related to their teams to ensure quality but making sure the project continue to respond to the expert’s needs throughout its lifetime.

You will also be responsible on project deliverables in committed timing and pro-actively come with solutions to overcome roadblocks that could eventually come on the way.

You will report to and support the FBS Chapter Lead. 

The Basics:

Main Responsibilities:

  • You ensure the good roll out, implementation and follow up with teams of tooling/process/internally developed solution to whole D2C organisation or respective team.
  • You update and report to disciplines leads
  • You drive each project with an Agile methodology (backlog session, user stories, sprints, etc.)
  • You maintain existing solutions by anticipating and planning native platform changes (e.g. Facebook, Amazon, etc.).
  • You organize and sets clear expectations in regard to tasks and deliverables
  • You prepare and maintain clear and accurate communication and project documentation, including project plan, status reports, internal meeting notes, change requests, and resource requests
  • You keep all stakeholders informed of project progressions

The Essentials:


  • You have a passion for E-commerce, data & technology
  • You are detail-oriented, organized and work autonomously
  • You have experience in stakeholder management
  • You are proactive, able to perform well under pressure, and nimble—able to problem solve and provide alternative solutions as changes arise during a project, while still adhering to timeline, scope and budget constraints.
  • You are enthusiastic, self-driven, solution-oriented and fosters an ongoing commitment to achieving high quality results
  • patience, dedication and excellent communications skills towards any type of stakeholders.


  • 2+ years of project management,
  • Fluent English (written & spoken), other languages are a benefit.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge or experience in digital advertising is a plus.
  • Being familiar with Agile methodology is a nice to have.
